In October 2015, I had my first Bikram Yoga experience and was immediately enthusiastic. The friendly and experienced teachers give you a careful introduction. After three trial lessons, I decided to complete the 30-day challenge in November 2015. They don't promise too much, nor too little! Doing 90 minutes of Bikram Yoga every day for 30 days is a challenge and changes a lot - for the better, mentally and physically!

I had severe whiplash and went to physiotherapy once or twice a week without any lasting improvement. My knees also hurt when I jogged. Not to mention that, the combination of whiplash and knee problems meant that I was rather clumsy at the age of 53.

After regular visits, my neck and knee pain disappeared and I am also getting better at doing the poses. Bikram yoga strengthened and mobilized my body so that I am now pain-free and, because I am continuing to practice, I will stay that way. Bikram yoga is also meditation, which helps you to be more mindful and alert, to become more self-confident and gain inner strength, to relax and to be more energetic - in short: you feel better all around and in no time at all!
